She works as head of the Hemostasis and Thrombosis section of the Hematology and Hemotherapy Service of the Cruces University Hospital (Vizcaya) since 2012. Graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Zaragoza, she completed her medical speciality at the Miguel Servet University Hospital (Zaragoza). Completed her doctoral thesis in 2013 at the same University with the title “Diagnosis and follow-up of musculoskeletal lesions in hemophilic patients using ultrasonographic imaging techniques” with a Cum Laude grade.
She has expanded her knowledge in the area of congenital coagulopathies in the Hemostasis and Thrombosis Unit of the La Fe University Hospital in Valencia, focusing her study on the ultrasound diagnosis of musculoskeletal alterations in hemophilic patients.
Belongs to the Spanish Society of Haemostasis and Thrombosis since 2012 and is a member of the scientific committee of the Royal Victoria Eugenia Foundation from 2018 to the present.
Has completed two master's degrees in relation to Congenital and Acquired Coagulopathies from the University of Alcalá de Henares and the University of Pamplona. Throughout her professional career she has made a large number of presentations and communications in the field of coagulopathies and hemostasis disorders, as well as publications both nationally and internationally.
