Katelin Rahn is a Research Assistant within the Trauma and Transfusion Medicine Research Center at the University of Pittsburgh, with a focus on the use of microfluidic design in assessing hemostasis, particularly in platelet products. Prior to her experience in research, she received her Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology from the Pennsylvania State University, graduating in 2021. She will be pursuing her PhD at the University of Pittsburgh in Bioengineering, starting in August of this year.
