Background: Vaccines administered during the COVID-19 pandemic were humanity's only way of coexisting with the virus. Nevertheless, research has shown adverse impacts of the Oxford-AstraZeneca CHADOX1 COVID-19 vaccination on human subjects. We conducted a study on hACE2 mice to investigate the effectiveness of the current treatment and its potential relationship with thrombotic consequences.

Aims: The objective of the research was to investigate the specific influence of AZ vaccination on the gene expression of platelets. Additionally, the study aimed to determine if SARS-COV2 infection after vaccination had an analogous impact on the gene expression of platelets in mice that were not vaccinated.

Methods: Four groups were established.
- First group: serves as Mock.
- Second group: Mice that received two doses of the AZ vaccine.
- Third group: Mice who have received two doses of the vaccine and have subsequently contracted the infection.
- Fourth group: mice that have contracted the infection without receiving a vaccine beforehand.

Subsequently, we obtained murine blood by heart puncture. The platelets were separated and cleansed. We conducted a comprehensive transcriptome sequencing utilizing the illumina Seq platform. Results were analyzed using ExpressAnalyst.

Conclusion(s): Our findings indicate that infection after immunization does not have any impact on platelet gene expression. Therefore, we have determined that vaccination may lead to both upregulation and downregulation of gene expression over a wide range of genes in murine platelets.
