Dr. Gilbert obtained his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in 2005, followed by postgraduate studies in Internal Medicine at the University of Malaya in 2015. He completed his subspecialty training in clinical hematology in 2022. Currently, Dr. Gilbert serves as a Clinical Hematologist at Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. His responsibilities include managing both malignant and benign hematological conditions in inpatient and outpatient settings, and conducting visiting clinics in various district locations. His primary focus is on malignant hematology, transplant, and consultative hematology. In addition to his clinical duties, Dr. Gilbert is an external lecturer at Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) and actively participates in multiple clinical trials, contributing significantly to the advancement of hematology research and treatment.
