Angelique Ceulemans was born on 12th October 1995 in Genk, Belgium. In 2020, she obtained her master in clinical biomedical sciences at the University of Hasselt, Belgium. After obtaining her MSc, she started her PhD trajectory in June 2020 at the Maastricht University Medical Center+. Her doctoral thesis focusses on identifying biomarkers in acute ischemic stroke, with special interest in the role and contribution of coagulation in stroke.
