Patricia Lopes, MSc is a PhD candidate in the Irish Center of Vascular Biology, Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, Dublin, Ireland. She received his science degree from Uberlandia University, Brazil. After she completed a master's degree in vascular Pharmacology at the Minas Gerais University (UFMG), Brazil, where she studied endothelial dysfunction mediated by inflammatory markers in a model of high levels of Angiotensin-II. Currently, she is an SFI funded PhD researcher supervised by professor James O'Donnell. Her PhD project involves the study of VWF glycans on its clearance and activity.
