Dr. Zhaoming Tang is an associate professor in the Department of Clinical Laboratory, Union Hospital, Huazhong University of Science and Technology in China. He directs the Clinical Hemostasis and Thrombosis Lab. Dr. Zhaoming received his MD from Tongji Medical College, China, and accomplished his postdoc training at the Blood Research Center of the University of North Carolina. Dr. Zhaoming is a member of the Hubei Association of Laboratory Medicine in China. His main work is constructing new lab technologies and interpret those abnormal test results for physicians. His research interests are developing biomarkers and novel diagnostic methods that help to screen hemostasis disorders and monitor anticoagulants. He also cooperates with experts who focus on basic medicine research. His most recent cooperation work was published in Nature Communications (Lv, et al. Nat Commun, 2024).
