Stephan is a highly qualified pharmacist, holding a degree in Pharmacy from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, and a Master's and Doctorate in Biological Chemistry. His research focuses on evaluating traditional medicines and developing new anticoagulants, with a particular emphasis on synthesizing antithrombotic glycosaminoglycans. With over fifteen years of experience in scientific research, he has completed two Postdoctoral fellowships and actively contributes to translational research in the development of innovative drugs.
