My name is Andre Lira da Silva and I am a postdoctoral scholar currently affiliated with Oregon Health & Science University. My research focuses on understanding the role of bacterial toxins, such as lipopolysaccharides, in coagulation. My interests are in molecular biophysics and biochemistry of the mechanisms leading to coagulation and inflammation activation.
