Lei Li, PhD, is a diagnostic technician at department of laboratory medicine, ruijin hospital, Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine. Her research interests are focused on epidemiology, diagnostics and pathology of inherited thombophilia including anticoagulant protein deficiency, gain-functional coagulation diaorders and so on. She has disclosed the molecular pathogenesis of thrombophilia by deciphering the function and structural implication of mutations of encoding genes. She has published several SCI papers included in Thromb Haemost, Thrombosis Journal, Clin Appl Thromb Hemost, etc. She has given keynote speeches in conferences and workshops (NCLM, CCLTA, CC-LMC, CMDAL, Oriental Congress of Laboratory Medicine, etc. ). She won a Science Research Famous Achievement Award in Higher Institution in 2020, due to the notable and outstanding contribution in field of " Advanced diagnosis, genetic etiology, prevention and treatment of inherited thrombophilia". She has served as a reviewer for foreign academic journals such as J Clin Pathol, Clin Appl Thromb Hemost etc.
