Dr. Yueying Li is a Professor in the Beijing Institute of Genomics, Chinese Academy of Sciences and China National Center for Bioinformation. Her team employs functional genomics methods to investigate the functional heterogeneity of megakaryocytes and platelet disorders. Major ongoing efforts include: (1) exploring the diverse functions of megakaryocytes and their developmental pathways under pathological conditions; (2) mapping the developmental atlas of the megakaryocytic lineage in Immune Thrombocytopenia (ITP); and (3) investigating diagnostic biomarkers and new therapies for ITP.
