Dr. Mandy N. Lauw, MD PhD, is an Internist-Hematologist at the Dept. of Hematology, Erasmus University Medical Center (MC) in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. Her main clinical interests are thrombosis and bleeding disorders, but she practices the entire spectrum of non-malignant and malignant hematology. Her areas of clinical and translational research interest include venous thrombosis, atrial fibrillation and anticoagulation therapy, with a special focus on splanchnic vein thrombosis and thrombosis in hematological malignancies. She is an advocate for early career professionals. She was a member of the ISTH Early Career Committee from 2013-2020 (Chair from 2015-2018) and is the current Chair of the YoungEHA committee of the European Hematology Association (EHA).
