Shrey Kohli is working as a junior group leader at Institute of Laboratory Medicine, Clinical Chemistry and Molecular diagnostics at Leipzig University, Germany. He has completed a masters in Biotechnology from India. Eventually, he moved to Germany and completed his PhD in 2017 which was focused on evaluating the role of platelets in placental dysfunction. His current research focus is to evaluate mechanisms of thrombo-inflammation during pregnancy and their effects on maternal and fetal health. He is an active researcher in the field of thrombosis and hemostasis. He is a member of the ISTH early career committe, co-chair of the SSC vascular biology subcommittee and the early career associated editor of the Journal of Thrombosis & Hemostasis (JTH).
