My journey in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology began with a fellowship at The Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, Canada, from 1999 to 2001, followed by a specialization in Pediatric Thrombosis and Hemostasis at the same institution in 2002. I worked for 15 years in the Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Department at Hadassah Medical Center in Jerusalem, Israel. Currently, I serve as a senior physician in the Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Unit, leading the Hematology and Hemostasis service, and head the Gaucher Unit at Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem, Israel. Additionally, I am a Professor of Pediatrics at the Faculty of Medicine, Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and hold a PhD in Public Health from the same university. I also co-edited the "SickKids Handbook of Pediatric Thrombosis and Hemostasis," which will be published later this year in its third edition.
