Dr Joyce Lam Ching Mei, MB,BS, MMed (Paediatrics), MRCPCH (UK), FRCPA, is a Senior Consultant Haematologist, Head of the Haematology Laboratory and Blood Bank and Medical Director of the Cell Processing Laboratory at KK Women's and Children's Hospital. She is an Associate Professor at the Duke-NUS Graduate School of Medicine and also holds concurrent academic appointments at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore and the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine, Nanyang Technological University. She is a member of the Steering Committees for the Association of Haemophilia and Allied Disorders Asia-Pacific and the Asian-Pacific Society on Thrombosis and Haemostasis. Her research interests include paediatric bleeding and thrombotic disorders, thalassaemia, anticoagulation strategies in extracorporeal membrane oxygenation and cellular therapy for malignant haematological conditions. She is the Primary Investigator for a number of clinical trials in paediatric haemophilia and anticoagulation, and leads a prospective outcomes-based Bleeding Disorders Registry.
