Dr. Pooja Pushparaj, currently serves as an Academic Junior Resident at Jubilee Mission Medical College, Kerala, India. She completed her undergraduate degree and internship from Government Medical College, Kottayam and Government Medical College, Thrissur.
Her professional journey includes overseas experience in the UK, which included a clinical attachment. She has also served as a Junior Doctor at Samaritan Heart Institute, Ernakulam, and worked as a Medical Officer at Government District Hospital, Palakkad, Department of Cardiology, under NRHM.
She has been actively involved in organizing committee roles for various CMEs and programs and also serves as the Coordinator and Webinar Moderator for the Transfusion Medicine Academic Society.
In addition to her professional commitments, she is actively engaged in volunteer work, including conducting voluntary blood donation camps and delivering awareness talks. She has been an active member of community outreach initiatives, NCD surveys, awareness camps, and health camps.
Beyond medicine, she is a passionate educator with experience teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students from diverse backgrounds. Her interests include music, art, and literature.
