Dr. Cindy Chu is an internal medicine and paediatrics physician. She is a senior clinical researcher at the Lao-Oxford-Mahosot Hospital-Wellcome Trust Research Unit (LOMWRU). For the past 15 years, her research work has been focused on Plasmodium vivax malaria, the use of 8-aminoquinolines for radical cure of recurrent infections, and G6PD deficiency.
