Postdoctoral position in a CIBERER group in the deparment of Hematology at the Hospital Morales Meseguer in Murcia. Graduated in Pharmacy in 2015. International PhD in Medicine from the University of Murcia in 2021 that received
the Extraordinary Doctoral Award from University of Murcia. She did internship at the University of Cambridge under the supervision of professor Willem Ouwehand at the deparment of Hematology were she learnt about nanopore sequencing and bioinformatic analysis of masive sequencing data. Her research is focused on the application of third generation sequencing - nanopore sequencing- for the diagnosis and research of different genetic disorders. Author of 26 papers, 9 being the first author. She has participated in 9 research projects being the leader in two of them. I have been invited to different conferences by the National Society
of Human Genetics and the National Society of Thrombosis and Haemostasis. She has been intived to seminars related with genetic diagnosis obtained with nanopore sequencing by differnt Hospitals and Universities. She has 85 comunications to national and international congreses, having 1 plenary session at the international meeting of Nanopore sequencing (London Calling) and 2 symposiums. She has launched a spin-off, Longseq Applications, which offers services and applications of nanopore sequencing analysis for the scientific community. This spinoff have received also different recognitions and a grant for a postdoctoral contract at the company. She has obtained 14 prizes directly related to her PhD, 4 best oral communication, 1 best manuscript, Royal Academy of Medicine award and 5 prizes directly related to the spinoff Longseq Applications and 1 award to the disemination activity "3minute thesis" by the University of Murcia. She has also active contribution to divulgative activities and invited to different activities promoting STEM careers in young students.
