Dr. Quan Zhang is a PhD Graduate Student at Central South University in Hunan, China. He performed his thesis research at the University of Kansas Medical Center (KUMC) between 2021 and 2024 in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine. Education backgroud is: MD: School of Medicine, Hunan University of Chinese Medicine, Changsha, China；Residency: Department of Critical Care Medicine, The First Hospital of Changsha, China；MS: The Second Xiangya Hospital, Central South University, Changsha, China.
He will be presenting the following abstract at the ISTH conference this summer: A novel rat model of spontaneous thrombotic thrombocytopenia purpura reveals a critical role of ADAMTS13 in fetal health.
