Hematopathologist and laboratory coagulation consultant
Royal Hospital
Muscat, Masqat, Oman
After graduating from medical school in 2014, I started working as a hematopathology resident in Oman. In 2017, I started a new journey as a hematopathology resident at UBC in Vancouver, Canada. A milestone was achieved in July 2021 by earning the FRCPC degree in hematopathology from UBC and in 2022 I completed my fellowship in coagulation as well as obtained a master degree in health science (epidemiology and research methodology). My interest in research resulted in publishing several articles at respected journals. I also presented some of my research work at international conferences and received multiple abstract awards.
