I am Miss. Nilanjana Ghosh, a final year PhD student under the supervision of Dr. Iti Garg from Defence Institute of Physiology and Allied Sciences (DIPAS), DRDO, Ministry of Defence, Delhi, India. I am going to participate in ISTH 2024 conference to be held in Bangkok from 22/06/2024 to 26/06/2024. I will reach Bangkok tentatatively by 21/06/2024 and leave post conferance on 28/06/2024.
The topic of my abstract is "Understanding the etiopathology of Venous thromboembolism (VTE) by examining altered Mitochondrial DNA methylation pattern". It highlights the novel findings of the status of DNA methylation in mitochondria in Venous Thromboembolism patients in both High Altitude and Sea Level. Pathways retrieved in this study and further exploratory studies will give more clear picture in the disease scenario.
Participating in ISTH 2024 Bangkok will play a very important role in my future endevours as a researcher.
