The focus of my work has been Tissue Factor Pathway Inhibitor (TFPI) and Neutrophils. More specifically, how an enzyme (PAD4) involved in NETosis can induce a post-translational modification called citrullination in TFPI, and how that can adverserly affect the function of the natural anticoagulant role of TPFI.
