Chantal Visser, MD, is a fourth-year PhD student in the Department of Hematology at Erasmus MC, the Netherlands, under the supervision of Dr. M.J.H.A. Kruip and Prof. F.W.G. Leebeek. She completed her medical studies at Erasmus MC, Rotterdam. Her research focuses on venous thromboembolism treatment and the quality of vitamin K antagonists, with a special interest in COVID-19-associated thrombosis and the potential effects of COVID-19 vaccines on (anti)coagulation. Chantal is particularly passionate about using large datasets to uncover new insights and improve patient outcomes.
