Friedrich Reusswig is currently serving as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Centre for Thrombosis and Hemostasis (CTH) of the University Medical Center of Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz, Germany. Dr. Reusswig obtained his PhD with summa cum laude honors from the Department of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery, at the University Hospital Düsseldorf, Germany. His doctoral research, supervised by Prof. Dr. Margitta Elvers, focused on the role of platelets in liver damage and regeneration. He has furthered his expertise through postdoctoral positions, including a stint as a Visiting Research Fellow at Versiti Blood Research Institute in Milwaukee (WI) under the mentorship of Prof. Dr. Karin Hoffmeister. Dr. Reusswig's research interests encompass areas such as thrombosis, hemostasis, and the molecular mechanisms underlying liver signaling pathways.
