I am Evgeniya Melnikova, a PhD student and junior researcher at CTP PCP RAS. I obtained my bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Physics from Lomonosov Moscow State University, Faculty of Physics, in 2018 and 2020, respectively. Since then, I have been a member of the Biorheology and Biophysics lab at CTP PCP RAS, working under the guidance of Dmitry Nechipurenko, PhD. Additionally, I had the opportunity to broaden my research experience through an exchange program at Prof. Ando's laboratory in Tokyo Metropolitan University in 2022 and 2023.
My research interests primarily focus on the physiology and pathology of thrombosis. I am particularly interested in investigating the mechanisms underlying platelet aggregation in vivo and in vitro, using microscopy techniques, microfluidics and animal models.
