Dr. Tammuella "Tami" Chrisentery-Singleton is the Chief Science Officer of the American Hemostasis and Thrombosis Network (Rochester, NY), and she cares for adult and pediatric hematology patients at the Ochsner Clinic Foundation (New Orleans, LA). She graduated with honors from Xavier University, received her MD from Louisiana State University - New Orleans, and then completed her pediatric residency at the University of Miami School of Medicine. Following residency, she completed pediatric hematology/oncology fellowship training at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and the National Cancer Institute , where she developed a serious interest in disorders of coagulation. Dr. Singleton has served as principal investigator for many clinical trials, authored many publications and textbook chapters, and she has a special interest in sickle cell, rare blood disorders, gene therapy and musculoskeletal ultrasound in hemophilia patients. She frequently serves as an invited speaker nationally and internationally.
