Morisada Hayakawa is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biochemistry and the Center for Gene Therapy Research at Jichi Medical University. In addition to basic research on blood coagulation factors, he is conducting research on gene therapy and genome editing therapy for hemophilia.
Morisada received a B.S. from Nihon University in 1993, an M.S. from the Japan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology in 1995, a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the Jichi Medical University in 2000. From 2009-2011, He was a Research Fellow in Dr. Jin Mo Lab at CBRC, MGH, Harvard Medical School, where he was involved in the functional analysis of MAP kinases in immune cells.
