I am Dr Amit Sharma, a Research Scientist I in the Hematology Department at All India Instituete of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) New Delhi, India. My PhD focused on Molecular Hematology and my thesis specifically addressed Causative factors of activated protein C resistence in thrombotic population. Subsequently, I worked as a Post Doctoral Fellow within the same department and was responsible for conducting Genotype Phenotype mapping of Rare Bleeding Disorders among Indian populations. Currently, my work involves performing carrier detection and prenatal diagnosis of Hemophilia, Molecular diagnosis of Rare bleeding Disorder along with conducting routine Molecular diagnoses of Thrombophilia within the Indian Thrombotic population. I have 21 Publications inInternational peer reviewed Journals.
