I am 32 years old and live in the western part of Denmark together with my husband and two daughters. We all like to run orienteering and be outside in the nature. I graduated from University of Southern Denmark in 2018 and am now doing my PhD at the Unit for Thrombosis Research at University Hospital of Southern Denmark, Esbjerg. During my PhD, I am analyzing different variants of fibrinogen in patients with type two diabetes, with and without stroke. I find this field very interesting, since both stroke and type two diabetes is two major diseases which are affecting more and more people all over the world.
