Dr. Carlo Zaninetti currently works as medical doctor and researcher at the Institute of Transfusion Medicine of the University Medicine Greifswald (Germany) under the mentorship of Prof. Andreas Greinacher. He got graduated in Medicine and surgery in 2011 and specialized in Internal Medicine in 2017 at the University of Pavia (Italy), where he performed his clinical and research training as a disciple of the hematologists Prof. Rosangela Invernizzi and Prof. Carlo L. Balduini. During his PhD course, completed in 2020, he focused on clinical and therapeutical aspects of inherited platelet disorders.
