Changming Chen is a staff of the Department of Laboratory Medicine at Ruijin Hospital, affiliated to Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine. I focus on the clinical and basic study of coagulation proteases. My current focus is on how the SERPINC1 gene variants of uncertain significance contribute to venous thromboembolism, which provides new insights into the relationship between structure and function of antithrombin.
