Benjamin Stocker, MD is a T32 research fellow in the Trauma Research Lab at the University of Colorado under the mentorship of Dr. Mitchell Cohen. He is a third-year resident in the general surgery program at the University of Colorado and received his MD from the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. The Trauma Research Lab is primarily focused on the systemic thromboinflammation of trauma, working to determine the underlying biologic mechanisms of thromboinflammation and discovering therapeutic targets to improve the outcomes for our trauma patients. Ben plans to specialize beyond general surgery in trauma surgery and surgical critical care.
