Dr. Aster Pijning is an early-career protein biologist specializing in thrombosis and haemostasis research. She earned her Ph.D. from the University of Sydney, where she discovered a novel mechanism of blood clotting regulation. Currently a Research Officer at the Centenary Institute, Dr. Pijning focusses on improving protein therapeutics in bleeding disorders.
