Dr Jean Paul Mulang Tshipeng obtained his medical degree from the University of Lubumbashi in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (MBChB/MD and BSc). He also has a diploma in child health and fellowship in Paediatrics from the Colleges of Medicine in South Africa (CMSA) as well as Master in Medicine (Paediatrics) from the University of Limpopo in South Africa. Currently his is working as a Specialist Paediatrician at Pietersburg-Mankweng Complex (Department of Health in South Africa, Limpopo province) and as lecturer at the University of Limpopo, in South Africa.
Dr Tshipeng has a special interest in haemophilia and he is supporting the haemophilia treatment center in the province and keen to persue his academic career further in this field.
The topic of his master with the University of Limpopo studied the benefits of low dose factor VIII prophylaxis in the treatment of severe haemophilia A in a low income country.
