Professor Pierre Fontana is Associate Professor at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Geneva, co-director of the Geneva Platelet Group and director of the Academic Departement of Medicine. He is head of the Hemostasis Unit and Laboratory at the University Hospitals of Geneva. He coordinates clinical and basic science research projects focusing on platelet physiology, antithrombotics and cardiovascular disease.
