Hongxia Fu Ph.D. is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Hematology/Oncology, Department of Medicine, Institute for Stem Cell and Regenerative Medicine at the University of Washington, and a member of the Bloodworks Northwest Research Institute. Dr. Fu obtained her Ph.D. at the National University of Singapore, where she studied mechanobiology using single-molecule biophysics tools and theoretical models. She continued her postdoctoral research training in biophysics at the National University of Singapore, and in Cellular and Molecular Medicine at the Harvard Medical School. Her research focuses on understanding the mechanisms of hemostasis and thrombosis and seeking new methodologies for therapeutic treatment.
