Dr. Woosuk Steve Hur is a postdoctoral fellows at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in the laboratory of Dr. Matthew Flick. He completed his PhD training at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada under the mentorship of Dr. Christian Kastrup. Dr. Hur's research program is focused on delineating the bi-directional relationship between coagulation/fibrinolysis and metabolic pathologies such as obesity, metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver diesease and diabetes.
