Dr. Moonla is an instructor in Internal Medicine and Hematology at the Department of Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, Chulalongkorn University, and King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital, Bangkok, Thailand, and a researcher at UNC Blood Research Center, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, NC, USA. With clinical experience and practice based in Thailand, Dr. Moonla has conducted and published several studies on hemostatic disorders, including congenital and acquired hemophilia, von Willebrand disease, and low von Willebrand factor, mostly within the context of resource constraints. Other research interests also focus on hemostatic/thrombotic alterations related to red cell abnormalities, chronic liver disease, and cancers.
