Assistant Professor Tan Chuen Wen, is a senior consultant for the Department of Haematology at Singapore General Hospital and National Cancer Centre, and a visiting consultant for KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital and Sengkang General Hospital. Dr Tan covers both the clinical and laboratory aspects of Haematology and is the Head of Section of Haematology Laboratory of Singapore General Hospital. His main interest lies is in the area of thrombosis, haemostasis and platelet disorders and has many peer-reviewed publications and grants to his credit. He is actively involved in both undergraduate and postgraduate medical training and is the Associate Programme Director of the national Haematology training programme. He is also the current President of Singapore Society of Haematology.
