Dr Alice Hart MRCP FRCPath(Haem) is an NIHR Doctoral Clinical Research Fellow in non-malignant haematology at Imperial College London and Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, where she also trained in medicine. With a specialist research interest in paediatric ITP, she has completed a study in children with ITP to investigate cerebral microbleeds and changes in cognitive function, quality of life or fatigue. Dr Hart was also involved in a study investigating cerebral microbleeds and cognitive impairment in adults with ITP. Dr Hart has also been co-investigator of both paediatric and adult ITP clinical trials. Dr Hart has presented on topics relevant to ITP at national and international meetings, including the British Society of Haematology 2024, the American Society of Haematology 2022 and the UK ITP Update Day.
