Background: Patients with hereditary bleeding disorders (HBD) can present in any field of clinical medicine including pediatrics, internal medicine, orthopedics, surgery even gynecology, dentistry and neurology. Officially, 164 patients with Hemophilia are registered among Mongolian population. No information is available on other type of HBD in Mongolia. But the real number of patients with HBD is likely to be higher..

Aims: The of the study was to evaluate the clinicopathological profiles of HBD among patients with bleeding tendency, presented our hospital.

Methods: By reviewing. the information from electronic medical record systems and hematology database of Mongol -Japan Hospital affiliated with Mongolian National University of Medical Sciences from January 1, 2023. 45 patients clinically diagnosed bleeding tendency were included in this prospective study.

Results: A total 112 patients with suspected bleeding disorders were presented. 35 (31.3%), were diagnosed a type of inherited bleeding disorders. Among them hemophilia A was diagnosed in 24 (68.5.%) patients, HB diagnosed in 2 (5.7%). VWD diagnosed in 4 (11.7%). Thrombocytopathy diagnosed 2 (5.7%) and 3(5.7 %) unknowing bleeding cases were reported. Clinical features hemophilia warried according to FVIII levels. Hemarthrosis and hematoma were more frequent than mucosal type bleeding.

Conclusion(s): There is no study estimating prevalence of hereditary bleeding disorders among Mongolians. As like other countries Hemophilia and von Willebrand disease are the most common type of hereditary bleeding disorders in Mongolia . The need specialized diagnostic facilities in Mongolia.
