PB0407 - Designation and application of Multi-dimensional continuous management index system for high-risk VTE discharged patients

Background: The continuous management model of VTE discharged patients was still at the exploratory stage with no unified and standardized evaluation system. And there were few studies to effectively evaluate the efficacy of continuous management for high-risk VTE discharged patients.

Aims: to design a multi-dimensional continuous management index system for high-risk VTE discharged patients so as to provide an effective evaluation tool for self-management after discharge

Methods: Literature review and expert focus interviews were firstly applied to construct preliminary entry indicators. Then Delphi method was carried out by two rounds to establish the index system with AHP used to assign weights to all levels of indicators. The 12 experts were from cities of Tianjin and Beijing including 4 cardiology specialists, 4 thrombus specialists and 4 clinical nursing specialists.

Results: 1.The positive coefficient of the two rounds of expert correspondence consultation were 91.66% and 100% respectively, indicating the experts’ high enthusiasm. Expert authority coefficient were 0.82 and 0.85 respectively, indicating experts’ great confidence in the inquired items. The overall index coordination coefficient were 0.364 and 0.372, P < 0.05.
2. The multidimensional continuation management index system for high-risk VTE discharged patients was initially constructed, including 7 first-level indicators and 46 second-level indicators and first-level indicators included knowledge, behavioral management, emotional management, problem solving , social support, patients compliancy and effect evaluation.

Conclusion(s): The index system for high-risk VTE patients was built on a scientific basis and could better evaluate the efficacy of continuous management for high-risk VTE discharged and its effectiveness in preventing or reducing the recurrence rate of VTE will be further tested in future researches.
